    2. Hi all, Sorry I am a few days behind in sending some more letters to Santa! As always the spelling mistakes by the kids I leave in the transcriptions I am doing. I am typing them up with exactly what they said. These below are also from "The News Leader," Richmond, Va., Saturday Afternoon, December 10, 1910 issue, page 5. Dear Santa Claus; I would like to have an Indian suit, a pair of kid gloves, a burnt wood set, some candy, nuts, horn and a Christmas tree. I think that is all. From your little friend, MARY COUNTESS HOPKINS. Dear Santa Claus; Will you bring me a train of cars and track. I want it to run by electricity. I want some fireworks and some thing for the boys. Your boy, TOM DAVIS. Dear Santa Claus; I am a little boy living way out here in Woodland Heights, my mama says I am a very good boy, so please don't forget to call at my house too. BARRINGER C. SMITH. 27th and Semmes Avenue Dear Santa Claus; Please bring me a doll baby, baby carriage and tricycle. I am your little girl. FLORENCE RUSSELL. Dear Santa Claus; Please bring me a patrol wagon and a bill goat and also bring my little brother an indian suit, also a drum and horn and don't forget my other brother, bring him something and bring us lots of good things to eat. Good night, Santa Claus. CARTER ENROUGHTY. Dear Santa Claus; I am writing you a letter to tell you what I want you to bring me. Please bring me a large doll with bobble skirt and an english go-cart and a trunk filled with clothes and a little iron stove and a set doll irons and please Santa Claus bring me a set of doll's kitchen utensils. Your little girl, R. F. D. No. 1, EDNA CARTER. Dear Santa Claus: I will write you a letter to let you know what I want you to bring me. Please bring me a automobile and a wagon and a hobby horse and a magic lantern and a bicycle. Your little boy, BENNETT CARTER. Dear Santa Claus; I am writing you to let you know what I want you to bring me. A large doll ad a trunk filled with clothes. Lovingly, ALICE CARTER. Dear Santa Claus; Please bring me a doll safe, a little stove, a pair of shoes and some other nice things. Just what you think nice. Please bring me a tea set. I am real good and go to school every day, now please don't fail to do as I ask you. By-by, from LAURA CRUMP. Dear Santa Claus; Please send me a machine and a sewing box, , a pair of kid gloves, a bracelet and some candy asnd nuts. If you can give me anything else, bring it also.
