For many years I have been searching for a John and Eliza Paul that lived in Virginia. John was born around 1790-1800 and Eliza born around 1800-1810. There first child, James Alexander, was born in Virginia after 1830. It is possible another child was also born there. If anyone has any information on Paul families in Virginia please contact me. They eventually moved to Tennessee but not sure where they lived there either. What route would most people take as they began to migrate? Is there any place in TN that people moved to in particular during the 1830's? Maybe these clues would give me an idea of where to start searching. Thank you.
