Just as our Irish cousins sent out a call for " all Gallaghers and those with Gallagher in their family trees," to gather in Ireland in 2007, we, your American cousins, are asking that you pack your bags once again and join us for our Gallagher Clan Reunion 2008 USA. This time the gathering will take place in Maryland, USA rightly called "America in Miniature". We will gather July 12 through July 19th. Events will take place in Frederick County, Maryland, Adams County, Pennsylvania, and in Washington D.C. We are looking forward to seeing Gallaher families from all over the USA and the four corners of the globe. We will attend a baseball game, watch fireworks, hear about the Irish and the Gallaghers in the American civil war, attend the 9th annual Adams county Irish festival . We will eat some and dance some and sing some. In other words we will have FUN. There will be tall tales and tales of true adventure that make up the tapestry of our Gallagher history. We will attend church services in the historic houses of worship where "The clustered spires of Frederick stand Green-walled by the hills of Maryland." We will meet to discuss and share Gallagher genealogy and to hear an update on the Gallagher DNA project. We will share stories that celebrate our Gallagher heritage.
