Ohio)and Susannah Hatfield (b. 1809 VA, d. Ohio). The Hartmans settled in Muskingum County, Ohio but were both born in Virginia. I have been unable to find birth records or other family trees tracing this line to Virginia. John's son, Joseph (1847-1917 Ohio) married Loanna Jane Smith and lived in Muskingum County for his entire life. Their son Reuben (b. 1869 in Ohio) lived in Muskingum and Noble. He married Maggie and they had my 2x great grandfather Wilbur Dewel Hartman. Any information on any branches of this line, particularly before John and Susannah, would be wonderful.
