Stubbs was my great great grandfather. They had a grandaughter named Mary Virginia Stubbs who married Walter H. Spruill. They had children Mary, Walter, Vera,William and James. They moved to Jamestown,NC in Washington County which is where the Stubbs family plot is located. After the children were born they moved to Rocky Mount, NC. The son James is my grandfather.
