To my VICK FAMILY: the "real Vick" thing started when a very sensitive in-law questioned me on WHY I was working so hard on the William Henry Vick Memorial Service. It became a family joke. They can't help but become interested in Vick Family history with me around. Some are contributing information quite unexpectedly. I am interested in passing-on the heritage to my son and grandchildren. Gosh, they are even learning some history while doing it! Now that I think about it, the in-law who asked me "Why are you working so hard on this when you are not even a 'real Vick' worked harder than anyone! My Mother-in-Law (a Taylor) "took me in" and treated me like one of hers from the beginning or our marriage. What a wonderful blessing she had been to me! Thank you all for being my REAL VICK FAMILY!
