OKTIBBEAH COUNTY, MISS. Vick et al Does anyone know what happened to David Vick born 1836 Oktibbeah Co. Mississippi? He would have been 33 when my great grandfather was born, John William Vick 1869. Abbie Williams Vick was David Vick's wife. This David does not show up on the Census records, or the war records I have searched. There are other David's but this one seems to match, if anyone has any information to help me prove or disprove this, I would greatly appreciate it. It's nice to recall the letters when driving through this area. I have a friend that is suppose to be checking out the town of "Blue" for the Vick lands settled in that area, he claims he knows everyone in the area. We will see. -----Original Message----- From: Doris Moore [mailto:djmoore@nb.net] Sent: February 24, 2000 13:19 To: VICK-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [VICK-L] Fw: Don't forget 1892 letter from Cornelia on February 25 Here's a letter from Cornelia Vick Sikes someone might find interesting.
