My diatribe was not directed at any individual or organization. As a former member of several heritage organizations I would not impugn these organizations or the people who form the body of the membership. (You are right, I didn't check those web sites, because I wasn't talking about any web sites in particular, only the poorly written "opinion" web sites that present themselves in fact). That's why I hesitated to respond as I don't have time to fully express myself. I am saddened at the responses and would again beg forgiveness for any offense caused. I don't want to get into splitting hairs with any of my non-looney, intelligent cousins (by the way I freely admit that I am capable of acting looney at times). As my pride won't allow me to apologize more than twice for an offense I did not intend to commit I feel I must leave. I have enough stress working 60 hours per week and cannot lurk without commenting nor defend every misunderstanding my correspondence might cause. It's a shame really, I feel lots of folks, including myself were blamed more for the inability of this medium to allow full expression (for example, the racism discussion, et al). As I said in my note, the freedom of speech comes with responsibilities, and I take mine on fully. As for Ronald's insinuation of hypocrisy "pot, kettle, black", I take exception to that as it does not logically follow. I used the words "I believe" and in "my opinion" and not "this is a fact". If this were another century, I would have to demand satisfaction. So I bid farewell, which is a shame, seeing how I have enjoyed it so, but have so little time to waste. It just hurts to mean well (to try to keep the list inclusive of all points of view, even the unpopular and therefore scorned views of others) and be misunderstood. Your servant if you are ever in Warsaw and need help. Jeffrey Crawford Vick --------------143017901A51A05797EE5DFE--
