Steve, I felt that I had to defend the SCV. Just last November. a group that my nephew is with held a memorial service for my ggrandfather Vick who died in the War. A nice stone was set up earlier in the year with the proper inscription describing his Co. and Regt. I thought it was quite a solemn and meaningful occasion. All those present were honoring their hero. It was my mother's grandfather. She passed away in 1993 at the age of 91 and I wish she could have been there to see it all. There has been an apology.
