Jim -- Vick is one of my collateral lines, and I have NOT done any extensive research on the Vicks, but it is possible that the Adella/Adelia/Della Vick who wrote the letters from Lee Co., Texas back to her Aunt Amanda in Oktibbeha Co., Mississippi was married to a Mr. Marquis, but I can't swear to that. My involvement with Vicks is that they were part of a group of people (which included my g-g-grantmother Mollie West) that left Okt. Co. in 1869 to settle in central Texas -- including counties of Lee, Burleson and Caldwell. Is your line from Okt. Co.? Vickie in Dallas --------------68172A95EC31B9BD8EED9D55--
