Many of us seem to have a great interest in the history of the country & the constitution. One of my favorite stories on this topic is, "Not Yours To Give" - Col. David Crockett - US Representative from Tennessee - http://www.house.gov/paul/nytg.htm . It is a long story, but does reflect the difference in life at that time and our present day perceptions. This is on my Congressman's website, I actually heard this story for the first time while in Italy 1972. Too many people tend to ignore what they don't like or agree with. We can't do that and really have a "Nation of Laws and Not a Nation of Men" as Jefferson said, if memory serves correctly. ----- Original Message ----- From: Linda D.
