Dear List, I want to thank all that dared to express themselves to the list. I for one learned lots of things at your expense. Much of it concerning our Civil War, Slavery, History, Flag, and about my Vick cousins on this list. Thanks to you all. As for the lurkers. I know if you speak you chance someone taking offense with your comment if you join the discussion. I hope we have learned to speak to each others with kind regard even when we disagree about this point or that so everyone can join the group discussion without fear. A very smart man once told me when I was unwilling to make change in my thinking I was finished growing. (As In Can't Get No Smarter) It takes change to grow. I wrote a book/story one time. Once it was published I read it again and thought, oh no I can do better than that what was I thinking? I seem to know more now or my view is from a different prospective. I hope we will always be willing to grow as people. Notice I didn't say give in or lay down but to honestly listen to new things that can help us grow. Truth is still very hard to come up with and my truth may not be your truth. Bible believing people use TRUTH. They will say this or that about someone that hurts them. Then they say well I can say that because that is the TRUTH. They need to reread that because what it is saying is the TRUTH is Gods word. Not what they think they know about somebody else. If we can agree on that we have come a long way in building a strong relationship tolerant of each other built on respect and LOVE for each other. Be slow to speak quick to listen and learn.
