Thanks for the information. His uncle Sebastian C. "Captain Bass" VICK led the Union citizen-soldier defense of Greenville, KY when it was believed the Confederate general Hylan B. Lyon was marching to burn the courthouse there. General Lyon bypassed Greenville, so thankfully, we still have the records for family history research! Regards, Larry
