Spelling of names, along with alternate spellings, are as they appear on the Muster Rolls. Succeeding entries are: rank at enlistment, company assigned, age at enlistment, date enlisted and where enlisted. All enlistments were for three years, unless otherwise noted. The regiment was mustered into Federal Service on 9 Dec 61 at Calhoun, Kentucky. Hospitalizations, wounds, transfers, promotions and other information are also included. The regiment was mustered out of Federal Service 14-17 Dec 64 at Bowling Green, Kentucky. Unfortunately, the regimental papers were lost to Confederate forces on 23 Nov 64 due to the abandonment of Pulaski, Tennessee by Federal forces.
