    3. Jim -- I've made the same mistake. In fact, I made a similar mistake in responding to your original message. I thought I was putting a message on Vick-L and actually sent it to Bob Vick privately. However, it is still a message that I do want to get to the list: Almost everyone bearing the Vick surname with southern or lower midwestern roots, black or white, shares a common ancestry. We are cousins; family. The deeper you dig into Vick history, the clearer the picture becomes, and it is not a comfortable one.
