I'm researching the ancestors of my 4g grandfather, Nathan Vick, who according to the 1850 TN census was born in NC. He was married to Elizabeth ? His known children who were all born in NC were: Elizabeth, Nancy (my 3ggrandmother), Mary, John, and Thisby. Nathan was b. c. 1790. His children were born between 1820 - 1832. Any info on his ancestors and the maiden name of his wife would be greatly appreciated. I'll be glad to share my info from Nathn forward. Thanks in advance. Terry Depp depp@usit.net >> Terry, your Nathan VICK is probably from the line (Nathan4, Nathan3, Robert2, Joseph1 the emigrant). I think you'll get a full response from the Joseph Vick Family of America (JVFOA) group a bit later. For now, here's what I have, and I hope it's not too far off what JVFOA has. I have your Nathan VICK born 20 April 1790 (siblings Ader, Noah Barefoot, Robert, William Brantley), son of Nathan VICK (1757-1810) and Mary BAREFOOT ( ? ). Nathan (b.1757) was the son of Nathan VICK (1723/32-1801) and Lee UNKNOWN (about 1745 - ? ). Nathan (b. 1723/32) was the son of Robert VICK (1690/93-abt 1736) and Sarah STRICKLAND (1692 - ? ). Robert (b.1690/93) was the son of Joseph VICK (1640-1702/3) and ( ? ) Lucy COUNCIL (1646-1744). Best regards, Dan Hayden Mukilteo WA
