Found in March 29, 2000 News & Observer, Raleigh, NC KATHERYNE GIBSON VICK SANFORD -- Katheryne Gibson Vick, 73, of 1609 Spring Lane died Tuesday at her home. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Caledonia Methodist Church Cemetery in Laurinburg. Funeral services will be held Wednesday night at 7:30 at the Miller-Boles Funeral Chapel conducted by the Rev. Rick Martindale. Visitation will follow the service. Surviving: one daughter, Margaret V. Smith of Sanford; one granddaughter, Katheryne Alicia Smith. Mrs. Vick was a retired school teacher, having taught in the Sanford City Schools. She was a long time member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a volunteer at Central Carolina Hospital.
