    2. Gosh, Norene, You make me miss the south plains and llano estacado with your letter. As a Texas Tech grad, I can sure remember walking the long hakf mile from west parking to the Architecture building where the Dean is a Vick by marriage. Lubbock was sure a good place to live and a lot warmer in the winter than Warsaw. A local boy has recently done well, though. Hungarian-born Tech Grad Ambassador Nagy has just been appointed to his second posting (albeit in Africa).
