Dear William Albertson, I have just come across the Burnett/Via/Turner/Ross pages and subscribed to the Via address. Yours was the first message to arrive. I am interested in your offer to help people with the Via line. My grandmother was Martha Magdaline Via who died in the flu epidemic of 1918. (Her husband was Homer O. Bryant, son of Alexander Bryant and Sarah Jane Ross.) Her father was Peter Lee Via, son of Fleming Via and Mary "Polly" Corn. I would be interested in any help you can give me about these families. I am at a loss as to where to turn regarding my Bryant family history. I know Homer Bryant (my grandfather) was the son of Alexander, but that's about as far back as I can go. Any suggestions regarding how to locate this information would also be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any help you may be able to give.
