I would like to find out more about "Danll VEARES", who along with 16 other persons was transported to Virginia in 1691, by William Winston who lived in New Kent County. Winston and John Englebrecht were granted land that had been granted to Jno Pouncy in 1666, described as "on lower side of Mattadecus Cr;". Interesting that in 1704, when Saint Paul's Parish was cut off from Saint Peter's, we find that Amer VIA was living above the mouth of Matadequin Creek.
