We have some new DNA results in, first - Kit 42406 & Kit 57338 had an Exact 12 Marker Matches. This is very important because they are the ONLY members we have so far, that are Descendants of Robert Via, the son of Amer Via. The rest of the members in our Via Surname Project has a great Genetic Distance from these two members and that makes it very interesting. I am trying to find more Via's that Descends from Robert Via to join our Project, but it is not an easy job. I will keep trying, I won't give up! Kit 43766 & Kit 45276 had an Exact 37 Marker Matches. The paper tail says they are 4th cousins. Their common ancestor is Josias Via. Kit 43838 & Kit 41120 and Kit 51699 had an Exact 37 Marker Matches too. Kit 43838 & Kit 41120 are 4th cousins 2 times removed. Their common ancestors are William Via & Mary Craig. Both Kit 43838 & 41120 has done their 67 Marker test. Kit 41120 got his results today. We have 5 members in our Project that has done their 67 Marker test. We will have to wait and see what the results will be with our members. It should be VERY interesting to see the results with some many Markers to compare with each other.
