Judy, Thanks for the input on the 5 tithables in William Via's household. Being that Robert Via first shows up in the Personal Property Tax Lists of Amherst County in 1795, he may have been born as early as 1774. That is, if the age of 21 was criteria to appear on the tax rolls. Besides, he did appear as a member of a road gang in 1794. Again, thanks for the input. Jeff Viar
