I know this is still up to debate but if he did come from the Virginia line it would not surprise me to see him in an area with Horsley's. Horsley's and Via's go back to Hanover County. They had strong ties with each other in Albemarle County and in Amherst County. I"m sure we have not totally narrowed down all the connections between these families but to interact with them in Albemarle and Amherst as well as being neighbors in Hanover County there were strong ties.
