Didn't Gideon settle first in central Kentucky? Or maybe I'm getting him confused with one of the other VIAs. I'm of the opinion that the various lines are all interrelated, the one who settled in Maryland, the Virginia line and the ones that eventually settled in North Carolina. Too many coincidences.
