Mary Ann probably b between 1735- 1745 no marriage on record Susannah probably b between 1735-1745 mar --- Spradling John b 1745 d prior to will probate in 1844. mar Mary Moore in Franklin Co Va sons John Jr. and James Via William b abt 1751 Franklin Co. Va. d 28 July 1849 Amhert Co Va Gideon b 1755 John's will written 17 August 1781 Amherst Co Va. Probated 5 March 1786 Amherst Co Va.. I have a copy of the hand written will signed by John Via. Will "bequeths all my land and tenaments to my four sons" (un-named) Will names daughters Mary Ann and Susanah. Land sale-David Via of Amherst Co Va--Amherst deed book H, pg 235-236.. Sold seventy two and one half acres to Thomas Spradling. Part of a larger tract of land containing two hundred and ninety two acres that John Via, deceased, left by will to his four sons (to wit) Gideon Via, John Via David Via and William Via
