No marriage record found but from deeds this marriage can be proven. 7 March 1752 David's land was processioned in Louisa County. Neighbors were Alexander Freeman, Samuel Thomerson, Edmund Stringer and Nicholas Gentry. 28 Oct 1752 Edward Stringer of Fredericksville Parish Louisa Co. sold to David Via and Frances Stringer, his wife and daughter of Edward Stringer, for paternal affection, 75 acres of land on both sides of Goldmine Creek. 23 July 1755 David's land was processioned in Louisa County. 5 May 1758 Edmund Stringer and Susanna his wife sold to David Via for 60 pounds 124 acres on Goldmine Creek in Louisa County 3 Dec 1759 David's land was processioned in Louisa County. 25 Nov 1760 David served on a Grand Jury: A Grand jury being this day impannelled the Court appointed John Micky Foreman who was Sworn and then the rest of the Jury to Wit Robt Embry, Henry Ford, Bicknal Alverson, Wm. Johnson, Will. Hendrick, Stepn Bourn, Jno Freeman, Jno Gilbert, Willm White, Wm Robinson & Hez Rice, Edmd Stringer, David Via, Richd Cory, Alex Freeman & Philip Thurman & having recd their Charge withdrew and made a Presentmt and were discharged. Aug 25, 1761 Edward Stringer and wife Judith, Edmund Stringer and Susanna his wife, David Via and Frances his wife sold to Phillip Day 109 acres on both sides of the south branch of Gold Mine creek. 27 Oct 1761 David Via and wife Frances sold to Nicholas Gentry Jr., 124 acres of land on Gold Mine creek 9 July 1766 in Augusta County, David Via wrote his will: I Bequeath my worldly Estate Francis Viars I Bequeath unto my Well beloved wife whom I appoint my full and Sole Exectrix one Negroe Girl Daphine to one bond Due from John Lancaster which I allow to Pay my Debts which bond being Lost to one Note of hand due from Henry Harriss which I allow to my Creditors which note being lost for Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand this 9th Day of July 1766.
