    2. Via, Warren
    3. The Dora buried in Warren may not be as strange as it seems. Greene is to the north and west of Albemarle. My part of the family moved from that part to Batesville, VA. There were quite a few Via's in the Batesville area prior to and just after the Civil War. The main roads in that area ran either north and east to Charlottesville, North and west to Waynesboro- Staunton, and south and east to Scottsville and the James River. There are roads that connected Scottsville to Buckingham Court House. These would have been the normal lanes of travel in that time. -----Original Message----- From: Maupin Reunion [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Wednesday, November 06, 2002 3:01 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [VIA-L] Mathew T.
