Good Evening, Via Group!!! Please forgive me if this information has been posted before. I have only recently joined the group. The Line here is, I beleive: William Amer Via Robert Via Gideon Via David Via & Frances Springer Two of their children, so far as I have gone, were in Gallia Co. Ohio in 1820, David and Gideon. Gideon Viers was easy to locate but I found that I had too many Vier/Via marriages in that County to have come from one family. Upon checking further I found David Vier also living in the same area. The census records are hard to read for 1820 and the spelling varies. Still checking for their other two brothers William and Robert. After I do the 1850 Census I will be able to tell if I have any leftover, Viers/Via who do not belong to Gideon or David. If this is anyone's lines please respond with comments or suggestions.
