My impression is that some time has been spent trying to see if the two families were related without any success. It appears as though some of Daniel's granchildren went to Ohio. Elisha to Summit County, Cassandra to Jefferson Co., Ohio. These two were children of Nehemiah. Others may have gone too. Judy

No success but a lot of suspicions. The two lines, Maryland and Virginia, arrived in America very close to each other. One of the line married into the Moon line in Amherst Co. and moved to Ky, along with one of his brothers who was the first schoolteacher in Lewis County where my VIERS ancester settled. There still is no firm connection between my ancester and either group, except his rather rare first name (Robert) and the Horsleys buried in the family plot. > > It appears as though some of Daniel's granchildren went to Ohio. In fact, one of them is mentioned in his will as 'gone to Kentucky. Another son married a Patsey Moon and settled on land awarded to her father for his Revolutionary War service.
