Greetings all, I have been constantly searching new roads to figure out who fathered my GGG-Grandfather, Nicholas Viar. All I know is that he married Ann Nichodemus on May 16, 1844 in Lynchburg, VA & I have a copy of the wedding certificate as well. No one seems to know who this Nicholas is. No birth dates, death dates, etc. One of his sons, Charles Nicholas Via(r), my GG-Grandfather, married & had my G-Grandfather, Thomas Nicholas Via. The "r" was dropped after the "VIA" at this time.
