Charles Nicholas Via born about 1850 (maybe Amherst County, Virginia) Married Cordelia Jones. 2. Lacy Lee Via born November 3, 1884 in Augusta Co., Virginia. Married Betty Frances Swortzel. 3. Samuel Via born about 1819 in Tennessee. He married Mary ?. They had the following children: John F., William, Samuel, Franklin, and Emma Via. 4. Samuel Via born about 1833 (maybe in Franklin Co., Virginia). First married Rebecca Simpkins in Montgomery Co., Va. in 1857. Then married Sarah?. 5. William Viar born about 1809 in Virginia. Married Elizabeth Chandler in Adams Co., Illinois in 1840. Their children: Rebecca, Thomas Jefferson, Charles, Matilda, George W., McCager, and Angeline Viar. Thank you for your help. Judy

Judy, I have the marriage certificate of Lacy Lee Via & Betty Frances Swortzel (the certificate should be on that CD I sent you). Lacy Lee Via & Betty France Swortzel got married on 30 Mar 1916 - Augusta, Virginia. Lacy's parents: William Via & Virginia C. Murray - Betty's parents: Linza Hiram Swortzel & Magdalene "Mattie" Hildebrand. I do not know the father of this William Via. Elaine =^..^=
