She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Newport News. She is survived by two sisters, Lucy Jones Savage of Gladstone, and Melva Jones Firkin of Woodbridge; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at Driskill Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Buddy Bryant officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park.
