I found this on the internet somewhere. Frances who was married to David Via, by the date of this will, 1778, was then married to John Eddy, so would have been Frances Eddy. Is it certain that Frances was a Stringer? Edward Stringer names Sarah Campbell in his 10 March 1778 (probate June Court 1799) Caswell County, NC will -- "Stringer, Edward, Judah (wife); Edmond, Limeledge, Mary Ann, James and William (children); Agnes Whitlock, Fanny Sutherland, Lucy Browning, Tabitha Peed, Sarah Campbell and Frances Vier (daughters)" [abstract from Olds, "North Carolina Wills" page 54] ~*~*~*~ <A HREF="http://www.ednabarney.com/">Edna Barney</A>
