RICHARD GLEN VIERS HIGH POINT, N. C. – Richard Glen Viers, 37 of High Point died Saturday at his home. He was born December 21, 1968 in Pulaski, Va., Glen loved fishing and working on cars. He is survived by his wife Jeannie S. Viers and three children; Richard Glen Viers, Jr., Nathan Stuart Viers and Kayla Marie Viers all of the home. He is also survived by his father James Viers of High Point and mother Margaret Burton and her husband Larry of High Point, brother Jimmy Viers and his wife Tina of High Point and three sisters Angie Thomas and her husband Todd of Pulaski, Va., Shelia Crowder of Dublin, Va. and Gay Rudder and her husband Bobby of High Point and several special nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Viers will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Blevins officiating. Interment will follow in Deep River Friends Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cumby Family Funeral Service High Point.
