Hi everyone, I am happy to say we have 3 NEW members in our DNA Via Surname Project. They just became members tonight, so I haven't had time to put their family lines on the website yet. Two were already in another Surname Project, Kit N4704 & Kit 42574. They BOTH had an Exact 12 marker match to our member Kit 42087. So, I ask them if they would like to join our group, and they did! I was told by a few people that it is VERY common to have a 12 marker match with someone who has a different surname then you. And both these people have different surnames. (Powell & Dixon) Their DNA results are on the website. I was also told, that most of Europe will match in 12 markers. It is the 25 & 37 markers that is more meaningful.
