She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd William and Virginia Harris Hodge and her husband, Jesse Viars, two sisters, Ethal Louise Dobbins, Goldie Marie Snider, and a brother, Mark William Hodge. She was a retired employee of Radford University. Survivors include a sister, Frances Tickle of Radford; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at West View Cemetery in Radford with the Rev. Mike Bond officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.
