They had 5 children, one being Henry Earle Via, Jr., who died in WWI. Clara's husband died abt 1883 from medication he took. She remarried William E Smith after her children were grown. Henry Earle Via, III born 10 Sep 1914 died in WWII. Clara died in Alice, Jim Wells County, Texas in about 1950. Clifton, Jacquelin, and Katherine Via are the only remaining family members left and these are her grandchildren.
