Delores Via Fox, 50, of Charlottesville, died Sunday, July 10, 2005, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her mother, Sarah Dudley Via; three brothers, Willie L. Morris, L. Randolph Morris and Daniel D. Via Jr. Survivors include her father, Daniel D. Via Sr., and his wife, Nancy, of Charlottesville; her children, Lester E. Garrison III. and his wife, Melissa, of Orange, Scott E. Fox and his fiance, Misty Gentry, of Kents Store and Tonya L. Fox and her fiance, Shannon Gentry, of Troy; five sisters, Betty M. Toney, of Midlothian, K. Gale Chapman, of Charlottesville, Deborah D. Hoy, of Highland Springs, Donna D. Via, of Palmyra and Danielle D. Staton, of Palmyra; two brothers, Daniel D. Via III, of Manassas and Carl A. Morris, of Stanardsville; the father of her children, Arnold E. Fox, of Troy; eight grandchildren, Scott E. Fox Jr., Travis M. Allen, Kelseann W. Garrison, Kiersten L. Allen, Brennon E. Garrison, Bradley T. Fox, Gavin M. Fielding and Makayla L. Gentry; among her many special friends, Sandra Hufford and Many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 12 noon, today, at Faith Baptist Church, Charlottesville, with the Rev. Hubert C. Tooley Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Holly Memorial Gardens, Charlottesville. Memorial contributions are suggested for Hospice of the Piedmont, 2200 Old Ivy Rd., Suite 2, Charlottesville, VA 22903 or to the American Cancer Society, 3042 Berkmar Dr., Charlottesville, VA 22901.
