Information which may be of value to Vestal researchers. I visited the three cemeteries at Searsboro, Poweshiek Co., IA on July 10, 1999. The cemetery in Searsboro had no Vestals. The Lower Blue Point Cemetery north of town had the following stones. Some of the info was illegible and dashes were inserted. This is the site of the Lower Blue Point Church built in 1856 according to a plaque on the site. Rev B (E?) L ---H SON OF -----VESTAL D 8 14 88 INF SON OF B--T (J?)
