You are right and I take back my previous idea of Jesse Vestal parentage. I am now gathering census indexes. There are some definite Vestal mystery families and yours is one of them. I have one too. Have you studied Vestals in Putnam and Hendricks Co., IN. I have no proof on Jesse Vestal. I was working on my Grahams in Vigo Co and added him to my Vestal database, based solely on his name and age. I was just quickly gathering names. Sorry to lead you astray. But I will write to you if I find more information in IN censuses. Tom
