Ginny, you ask for responses to your good information on John Vestal, son of William and Elizabeth. I have that John died about 1764 without a will for that year the court named William as heir and 1/3 the estate reserved for John's widow, Ann, during her lifetime. Unfortunately, I don't have the reference citation at my fingertips but surely it is in Berkeley Co VA court orders. The 1776 record, I believe, is the inventory of the estate.
