I have a copy of that Trails West article and it does not say anything at all about the parents of William Vestal Sr. Maybe he has a different copy than I do or maybe they have updated it from the original. It has not been proven to any of the descendent of William Vestal Sr., who his parents were but we are hopeful the information exists.
