Tim Gore said that the information about William Dugan Vestal came from a letter that was written by Susan Armstrong Steele (the 2nd wife of Dugan) that was published in a publication called Trails West Newsletter.While Tim cannot find his photocopy of the document, he said that many libraries carry the publication.While this is not proof positive it does give you something to think about.Maybe someone can find the publication.Tim states that it is searchable with a surname index.If Susan Steele did write the letter,surely she would know who her own husbands grandparents were.
