    3. From Wayne County, Kentucky Marriages and Vital Records 1801-1860, Vo.l. Two Marriages "K-Z" Compiled and published by June Baldwin Bork, 1973 Vestil, (Vestal), David and Sally Wade. Surety, Dawson Wade. Married 9 Apr 1812 by Elliot Jones. [my remarks known by further research: "Dawson Wade is father of the bride, Elliot Jones, is the uncle to the Bride by way of his marriage to Elizabeth Wade, the sister of Dawson Wade. I believe Elliot Jones is either a minister or J.P.] Vestil, Jacob and Silah Summers. Surety, Richard Summers. Married 13 August 1812 by Elliot Jones. Bond dated 5 July 1812. [Again Elliot Jones as above. Richard Summers is the father of the bride.] Vestil, James and Jamima Wright. Surety Jesse Mullenix. Married 10 February 1814 by Elliott Jones. Endorsement on Bond: "Lady proved age by the oath of Jesse Mullenix--Gents parents present and consented." [Again Elliot Jones and here the fact that the parents of James Vestal were living in Wayne Co., KY at the time of the marriage in 1814.} Who is Jesse Mullenix? The Mullenix family intermarries with the Vestal family in Macon Co., MO. I believe the use of Sarah Wade's uncle for the JP or minister shows the strong likely hood, though not stated, that the 3 Vestal men above are brothers. James and Jacob migrated to Randolph Co., MO in 1829. David and Sally Vestal move to IN in 1822. David had a twin brother John Vestal who presumably is the John Vestal who was with the Vestals to MO in 1829 because the 1830 Wayne Co., Delinquent Tax list states: "John Vestal, Sr., John Vestal, Jr., James Vestal removed to MO." John Vestal, Jr. being a contemporary of James is the probable husband of the Sibby Vestal, widow 1830 Randolph Co., MO. John Vestal, Sr. therefore the elder of the clan and believed by his origin in Surry Co., NC, known from David Vestal's Bible Record birth date and place, his age group by children's ages, and names of grandchildren--thought now to be a son of James Vestal and 1st wife, Mary [Jay]. From other data, John Sr.'s wife was said to be Elizabeth. I am trying to find proof of these relationships. Any information to help, please send to me. Tom Rea
