It's a slow night, so probably no one will notice if I slip this in. HOW TO GIVE A CAT A PILL We had a sick cat that had to take 4 pills a day. What a Fiasco! Husband holds open the mouth, I try to shove a buttered pill down her throat, she kicks it back out, he tells me what a dumb idiot I am that I can't shove a buttered pill down it's throat. we try again, same thing, the Baby laughs. After third or fourth time, we get it. down. Then on to next pill, same thing, only now daughter, her husband AND Baby laughing, husband lets go of cat mouth too early, crunches finger that is shoving pill.( Mine!!!!!) Black and Blue and Throbbing. So now he is going to try it, how hard can it be? Here he comes with his welding gloves on, and old hunting coat, and safety goggles. I thought we would die laughing, even the cat. But, you say, did that work,? Hell no! I thought my husband was going to choke it to submission, so daughter took over and slipped the pill down it's throat. It would have been easier to shoot her. The next vet that tells me" here are the pills, just place it at he back of her throat and hold her mouth closed, and she'll swallow it", is going to get a black eye.---Original Message-----
