I have just recently gotten online. I happened to run across the Vestal heritage which is very interesting to me since my maiden name is Vestal. I did discover that Jessie Vestal is my great, great, great grandfather. We had only found as far back as George W Vestal. Since I now know that Jessie was married in Vigo County I can go to Terre Haute and do some research. It is only about 25 miles east of where I live. Jessie was also buried in Clark Co. Il which is 30 south of me. I hope to find his burial spot. I will compile all of the information I have on all of us Vestals from George on down and send it to you.
