Here is more on Joab: Because of the birtplace child of Sophronia in 1840 we are able to find Joab in 1840 Benton Co Ark with Z. Vestal close by. I believe this Z. Vestal is probably Zimri son of William & Mary Wheeler Vestal. In manuscript of John Vestal Jr he mentions Zimri going to TX. I don't know what the connection is between Zimri & Joab. Going back to the 1830 census Joab is found in Delaware Co IN. Julianne Vestal m Jacob Coon in Delaware Co IN. Julianne is said to be daug of David Vestal in the 1830 Randolph Co IN census. This David is said to be of VA b abt 1755. I have seen 4 children listed for this David. There are according to 1810 & 1820 VA census children of David unaccouted for. Is Joab his son & Julianne brother? In history Randoph Co IN David abt 1831 sold property & moved to "white lick" south of Indianapolis & died there.
