    3. Source, Rutland Daily Herald--Thur. March 13, 1919. MIDDLEBURY, VT. The funeral of Mrs. Martha A. Barnes, who died Monday, was held at her late home in Whiting Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. F. J. Melzard officiated. The bearers were Clair Barnes, Floyd Bruso, Robert Wooster and Leonard Cook. Burial was in South cemetery in Cornwall. The funeral of Mrs. Eunice J. Norton will be held at her late home in Weybridge Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Mrs. Lewis J. Hathaway and Miss Naomi Price were in Burlington Wednesday to attend the meeting of the Vermont Equal Suffrage association. Mrs. H. B. Hagar is in Burlington, called there by the serious illness of her sister -in-law, Miss Laura Hagar. The Woman's auxiliary of the Y.M.C.A. will hold an open meeting March 18 at 8 o'clock in the Y.M.C.A. rooms. Refreshments will be served. All boys are cordially invited. At a meeting of the Y.M.C.A. Tuesday evening evening the following officers were elected for the coming year: President, Walter Grosvener; vice president, Arthur Trudo; secretary; Paris Fletcher; treasurer, Ralph Eddy; committee on equipment, Paris Fletcher, chairman, William Baldwin and Fletcher Taylor.
