Hi Harriet, I've been looking around for Hiram, and found this entry in a book called the History of Walpole NH Vol 1 by Martha McDanold's Frizzell published by the Walpole Historical Society in 1963 http://books.google.com/books?id=rso1AAAAIAAJ&q=hefflon#search_anchor You can only see a small bit of the data, but someone sold him a lot of land in 1852.
