Good morning Cindy... Where does time go? I'm trying to clean out the emails I have or started...came across this one. I must have been distracted and didn't get back...! Want to say thank you for the thought you sent to me! I'll now begin working on this again!!! Don't ever think if someone doesn't get back to you...you are forgotten! I know you are a great help to many...see it all the time! Happy New Year...2012!!! BATV Thank you Cindy, This record is of MARY Tobin Phelps...she is the daughter of Margaret OATS in this record...! I have a copy of the original from Dorset...and it looked like Margaret CATO to me...I'll look down the OATS line!! I see where it could be OATS...letters crowded at the end...etc...!? Intersting also that the transcriber on Ancestey wrote "CATS". But...I suspect that OATS maybe most correct! Also interesting...the orginal register book didn't list the parents place of birth...wonder where that came from!? Or I didn't receive the full copy... Still would like to learn more from this reference...about Mary (Margaret?) Tobin Phelps...
